Town of Essex

Since 2013, Essex Town Council has included two Youth Council Members. The function of Youth Council Members is to attend, participate and/or report in regular meetings of Town Council for the purpose of bringing a youth perspective to Council matters or discussions.

The Town of Essex became a YCC member in 2021 as the first member from Southwestern Ontario. They are also the first in the same region to take on the Hour for Hour Challenge!
